Who we are

Lamek Interiors is an interior design and fit-out company based in Chennai, India.

This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect and why

Enquiries

When you send the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, project type, project location and message, plus your email address and the services you tick if you choose to give them. We also record which page of the site you sent the form from. We use this to reply to you, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a bot is submitting it. Turnstile processes technical data from your browser, including your IP address, for that check.

Phone, WhatsApp and email

If you call, email or message us, we use what you send to answer you. The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a chat with our number and pre-fill a short message that names the page you came from; you can edit or delete it before sending. The conversation then takes place on WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Cost calculator

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The sizes and finishes you enter are not sent to us or stored anywhere.

Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-7CY71ZXGT8) to see which pages are visited and how people find us. It sets cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then it sets no cookies and cannot recognise you between visits. Google Analytics also records when a phone, WhatsApp or email link is clicked, when the calculator's call-to-action is used (with the estimate range and finish chosen), and when an enquiry is sent (with the project type and location entered, never your name or contact details).

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies

• cc_cookie (necessary): remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. Set by this site, expires after 182 days. Cannot be switched off.
• _ga and _ga_* (analytics): set by Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies. If you later reject them, they are deleted.

You can change your choice at any time with the footer button labelled Cookie preferences. The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. The services below handle it on our behalf so the site can work:

• ZeptoMail (Zoho) sends your enquiry to our inbox and, if you gave an email address, sends you a confirmation. Processed through Zoho's India data centre.
• Google: enquiries arrive in our Gmail inbox; Google Analytics runs only with your consent; the contact page map is served by Google Maps.
• DealClosure, the customer relationship management system we use to follow up enquiries, receives the details you submit in the form.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the Turnstile bot check.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, in our email inbox and in DealClosure, for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Your cookie choice is kept for 182 days. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used, to have it corrected, completed or updated, to have it erased, to withdraw consent you have given, to raise a grievance and have it answered, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. We will honour these requests whether or not a particular provision of the Act is yet in force.

If what we collect or who we share it with changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
